Joseph Reip - Porsche 914-6 M471 (yellow GT conversion)

the german speaking moderator just explains who's who and what's historic rallye in general - nothing interesting

and i know the guy with that white 2002 (with the stripes), he's from Ahrweiler!

The alpines did nothing for me, but the Lancia and 2002 gave ma a bit of a chub.

bitte gestattet dass ich, etwas verspätet, auf diese Einstellung reagiere.
Begründung:

Nicht mein 914-6 GT ist eine "conversion" sondern das von Waldegaard eingesetzte.

Meiner ist ein originales Fz. aus der GT-Liste.
Und es ist sogar wahrscheinlich weltweit der einzige GT bei welchem durch bestimmte Merkmale nachgewiesen ist dass es sich dabei auch wirklich um das originale Fahrzeug handelt. Bei allen anderen GT's, ob echt oder nicht, sind diese Details nicht mehr vorhanden. Zu gründliche Restaurationen haben diese wertvollen Punkte unwiederbringlich vernichtet.

please allow me, somewhat belatedly, to react to this attitude.
Reason:

Not my 914-6 GT is a "conversion" but the one used by Waldegaard.

Mine is an original vehicle from the GT list.
And it is probably the only GT in the world that has been proven by certain features that it is really the original vehicle. For all other GT's, whether real or not, these details are no longer available. Restorations that are too thorough have irretrievably destroyed these valuable points.
