I am looking for lightweight gas springs (think trunk shocks, but needing only about 10-15 pounds max) and ball joints to attach them.

Where the heck do you find them? I have been googleing for an hour, with no luck.

Do a Google search on "gas springs" and you will come up with a bunch of suppliers.

if you need them for the hood or trunk, you can get camp914's kit with the lighter shock for FG.

Got'em at Master Carr.

Thanks

I already have a camp kit on my trunks. Its fab.

I am going to use them to make a lightweight, GTish pull system for my head lights.
