245 on 9's in the rear, what's a common choice for the front? Thanks! rolleyes.gif

(I like the look over the 205's on 7's.)

then a 225 is what you want, for a balanced look otherwise I believe you can go larger on the rear and get a 245 up front. a 225 on 7 looks like a 245 on 8....see what I mean? I have 245 on 8/225 on 7 on my wheels though no pics yet....

245's- 45's on 8's fit on the front of my car with standard flares, But i run a 7 with a 225/50 16 with the 245/45 16 on 9's in the rear. 245/50 16 on 8's fill out the flares in the rear very well and fit fairly comfortable on the 8's.

I assume when running 7's in the front (with any size) , you're using a spacer?

Thanks for the feedback!

205x15x50 on 7'' in front with no issues

225x15x50 on 8" in rear with flared fenders.

225's on 8's on the front. 245' on 9's on the rear. Excuse the dirty car.

I don't believe 205's would work very well on 8's.

If you have 245's on 9's in the back, to keep the same stretch on the tire, you should go with 225's on 8's in the front. If you put a 245 on the front, it would bulge out more than the rear and possibly look awkward.

Also is this a street car? Will these tires ever see the rain? How often do you push it?

A street car that might see the rain will drive better and get better (slightly) gas milage with the 225's on the front. But if you plan on hitting the autox and get competetive with this setup, or you constantly push the car on the street, you might want to go with a balanced 245 F 245 R setup...

IMHO go with a 225 on the front.

I think I'll go wit the concensus suggestion and go 225's. rolleyes.gif

I am running 225's on 8's on the front of my standard flared 914. So I would say 225's also because 225mm fits best with 8 inch rims.
