Just curious. I have a 914-6 engine in my car and I may be getting a 911 2.4l... at least that is my goal. I am wondering. Do I need to keep the cooler off the 2.0l or will the cooler off the 2.4l work and bolt up the same?

You need to use a 914/6 oil cooler, or one appropriately modified. The oil line will hit the body if you use an unmodified 911 cooler. The Cap'n

So you can modify the 911 one to fit right? How hard is that to do?

Yup I would....keep the other as a spare and then have a 90 deg welded on it for a backup
