better look

these were a bit rusted and neglected when I got them...I just did a quicky paint job with some rattle can gloss black for centers and gloss grey for the rims.

they will be bead blasted and repainted in a factory finish silver and then clear coated. That job will start next week once I get the old race rubber off of them. biggrin.gif

and thank you Lou. smile.gif

these were pretty bad when I got them....spent about 5 hours hand finishing and polishing....came out fairly decent.... biggrin.gif
DanT
or you could go 5 lug and do 6 and 7" painted and polished Fuchs

these were my street wheels and tires for my 6

hey mike. did u use wheel adapters or did u convert to 5 lug rotors?
steve

Nope, there is a specific year of 944 that has the perfect offset. They are 24mm and 15mm IIRC. I can recheck. I am running 17X7 with 225/45 in front and 17x9.5 rear with 255/45. I didnt want to use adapters. I have 5 lug conversion parts and a 911 front. I have 2 sets of drilled rear rotors if anyone is interested ($100 ea + ship).

I welded brackets to the body and then pop riveted the front and rear bumpers to the brackets. The rear bumper is also seamless. Then, LOTS of fiberglass work !!

true but as long as we all like how we have personalized are 914s. i personally like the 916 look. i dont like the idea of cutting up the front end like they do with those chalon kits. but as long as we like wut we have and can defend y we did it its cool.
