so to complete modeling the kinematics of teh 914 suspension, i need 2 clues. First is the eye to eye length of the steering rack, and second is the height from the ground to the outer ball joint pivot location on a stock 914

any help that i can get is really appreciated..thanks

The distance between the inner joints on the stock 914 steering rack is 556mm (spec'd in the 914 shop manual). Don't know about the height of the outer joint. I'd have to measure it, and it depends upon the tire size anyway. Someone else will probably respond about it before I could.
