When I lived in Central Illinois there was a dealership that got stuck with a bunch of those things back in 1988 or so. They actually had a buy 1 get 1 free sale. It worked too! You just had to pay the sticker price for 1, $3999, the other was free. (No, I swear I didn't buy any.)

Kia has a similar deal from time to time here..
They also have a new car in competition with the bext euro luxury sedans... look for the commercial.

There is a guy here in town with two Yugo's. They are both in excellent condition. The one he drives to work
the other is the spare car if the other breaks down. NO joke. had since new and they both look like they just rolled off the show room floor. He bought them because
they were cheap and now he keeps them just to see the
looks he gets. I will see if I can get a pic of them.
