I think my 914 already has Stainless heat exchangers. I was checking things underneath the car today and cleaned the oil and grease residue off of them and found them to me a bright silver color. These are the stainless ones right ? What do the stock ones look like ?

what year is your car? the '75/'76 clean up to look shiny, but they are not stainless ...

the stock ones (pre '75) are mild steel ...

A frige magnet is your friend, dosen't stick to SS, though most stock ones are rust colored. smile.gif
