Does anyone have any suggestions for new speakers that fit in the stock enclosures?

I'm convinced nothing that fits in the stock location will sound very good, compared to a good 6 1/2 speaker. I put Infinity reference series 4x6s in mine and they still suck pretty bad, mostly because the enclosure really isn’t an enclosure. I’m thinking of going with those aftermarket speaker enclosures from Appearance and Performance that replace the stock ones. They allow a 6 ½ speaker.

I got their set with the 60W Blaupunkts installed. They sound good. They also have mounting boards that will fit in the original enclosures.
