What causes the squats? Is it simply the springs? What is the best way to control ride height? I am searching for a stock experience. Are adjustable coilover springs the answer?

Bad rear shocks.
A little squat is good for a strong launch. Hitting your tuna can isn't good for anything.
You can change the springs to a heavier weight. Traditional racing theory is more spring, less shock= faster response. That's true. But it's not the best.
Anyway. Got some new shocks. They're cheap.

I disagree. Hitting your tuna can is good for tuna can sales.
