Just got the new old tach for the Shealey. Some of you may remember I am working on a 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye for Sandy. I installed a Suzuki Swift twin cam engine connected to a Samurai 5 sp. The original tach is a cable drive unit. I sent the tach to Mark Surel Marks914. He gutted it and installed a new electric unit. Although he could have easily restored the appearance, I didn't want it to look new, just work like new. I'm again very pleased. This is the second one Mark did for me. thumb3d.gif

A 59 bug-eye was my first "performance" car.

Is there a write-up anywhere on the engine swap? I'd love to see it.

I guess I should have put these photos with the other stuff about the car.
