Is there any certain angle the ends of the tin rubber seals should be cut at where they meet at the corners to get the best seal? My originals were hog ringed together, but is there a better way?

I just cut mine so the pieces would fit nicely, didn't hog ring or anything like that.

Do you still have the pieces with the hog ring? I'd like those rings if you do...
