What kind of times is he running?

he ran 16.5, not blazing but not bad considering it WAS an almost stock (header & clutch, carbon fiber hood and fenders) 1.5 non v-tec. recently he stuck a cold air tube (long) but hadnt put the releife valve on yet while during the last rain it hydro locked and whalla, instant visable rod. since then he put an acura 1.6 dohc but still 16.5-16.49 consistant. he is running his stock ecu.

Also, with the "acura 1.6 liter" i'm assuming you mean the B16? (~160 hp) that hatch should be in the 15's

I had a red hatch just like that one. Ran 16.1 @89 mph with a D16Z6 (~126 hp)

funny... huh? it was just a more or less stock 1.5. obviously not set your hair on fire fast, but he red faced a vette.
