This is where I get them: Germansupply.com

part # 021 119 627 B its the left Heater tube grommet for a 72-79 bus

so you will need two. biggrin.gif

Good to know. Rubber parts are generally crap after 30 years.

Wow, talk about timely! One of mine crumbled into dust when I was changing the tin screws. The other one can't be far behind. Thanks for the tip.

Bad year for me & rubber pieces - everything's going at once! At least those parts that are difficult to treat.

Also check out "1st VW Parts" here

I notice that they too have some obscure parts, including the J tube grommet for $4.97. I used the VW part number search feature.

Yeah, lots of nice stuff, but the S&H costs are pretty high!

Busdepot.com also has them. I just ordered two tonight for $6.31 each.

You definately do not want the right side heater tube grommet for a bus! It's not the same as the left. I've got eight of the wrong ones, if anyone needs one.
