I heard someone in another forum complain that they aren't as good as they used to be. But my personal experience is they are good people. I walked in the garage and BSed with one of the techs while he retapped some bad threads for me no charge. They were working on a 912 at that time.

I've bought a few misc 914 parts from them which they had in stock. (Injector seals and phenolic blocks/gaskets among other little things.)

thanks rand, i just happened to drive by there and wondered if they would have some of the "not in stock" parts that the p" dealer or other vw shop might not have.

I don't think they stock a lot of 914 specific parts. But sometimes they have some oddball stuff. I would call before making a trip over there if looking for something specific.

When I bought my injector seals, I mentioned I was missing one of the plastic caps/tips. The guy dug around in a box, found one, and gave it to me. No big deal, but that was pretty cool.
