I just purchased a set of original Mahle (5.5x15 - 4x130) aloy rims.
I know my "short" lugs won't fit.
Just found this set on ebay. Are theese OK for the Mahle rims ?

At one time, there was concern about the radius on the ball seat. I don't know if it was ever resolved.

These look like the ones I purchased about 4 months ago. They are chrome plated and after a couple of removal cycles the chrome flakes off and they start rusting.

To get the real ones polished I think they are about $5 a piece at HPH.

I purchased those for my Mahles a couple of weeks ago. When I dropped one in I noticed they don't sit flush like the correct ones do. I contacted the seller who acknowledged that the ball is a radius that fits a couple of different size rims but that they make good contact where it counts. So they would work but they look like they are sitting up a bit out of the seat. FWIW, I sent them back.

"Make good contact where it counts"? What a crock! Full contact is good contact, anything else is not good enough. Like brakes, you want your wheels and tires to be the best they can be, and that includes being securely fastened to the car. The Cap'n

I have had 3 or 4 sets of the ,wrong raidus,shitty chrome ,no good E-Bay Trash.

I found a set advertized in 9 Magazine, bought them very expencive,$350. 00 a

set. They prove the saying" You gets what you pay for". I tryed to locate the

guys bussness name or E-Mail. I hope someone will chime in here with that info.

Just for fun, the short lugs will "fit", but you will only have 1-2 threads holding the wheel on
