Can you guys post up some pictures of the different types of stock rear valences so I can determine which will be best for me to use with the muffler I have.
Thanks !
PeeGreen 914
May be easier to do if we knew what kind of muffler you have wink.gif

The car is a 72 the Bursch muffler is a for a 72. I think I have the wrong valence though.

I think this is my favorite valence. McMark built it. I'm thinking of doing something like this for my car, except with a wider strip of expanded steel.

Very cool! Is it just the picture, or does the muffler hang down further on the passenger side?

Could someone post a picture of a '71 with a stock valance. Mine is missing, and I'm never sure which one I need. smile.gif

Do you have any more pics of this car? And, what color?

Thanks! beerchug.gif

'75 welded up and new notches cut for dual tips. Conveniently, the notches are the same diameter as a grinding wheel. idea.gif

Posts #15 and 16 right after your post. MarkB's car has the same valance that you need.

Post # 17 is just what I have but why is my bursch tailpipe coming out 2 inches to the right of the notch ?? So I just buy a 70 valence ?

Automotion has rear valances with cutouts and without cutouts for about $75.00 (no affiliation)

If you have a custom pipe locatiopn, you might want to purchase a valance without a cutout and cut your own pipe hole.

Just a thought... idea.gif
