Mr Natural
Quaife torque biasing about $1300
GT (guard transmission) Limited slip $1800
Used Porsche LSD about $900 if you can find one.
I think early 915 LSD's fit 901 boxex
(have a 915 quaife in my 901)

Track or Autocross?

My favorite has been the OE ZF Limited slips, but they are hard to find and very expensive new, so we are using the new Guard limited slip units, with great success!

Oh yea the debate never ends whether a clutch type, or torque sensing LSD is better.
I have a Quaife because the price was right

The best was pure liquid made by Sandoz Labs. One drop on a sugar cube, share it with a friend. See you in a couple of days.
(actually that was before my time)
More to the point, they all have shortcomings, and turn torque into heat instead of motion.

Its for Autocross mainly, Track in the future...
Right now I have a locker (welded) diff...
Can I manage with it or will I loose my mind in Autocross???
I assume the latter....
So, I figure if I am going to go all the way into the tranny, and fix all the syncros and bearings, I dont want to do it twice, so a limited slip now is better than later...
Although, what about a diff from an old tail shifter...might do for the season..

Remember the "Quaife torque biasing " diff only works if both wheels are on the ground - the ZF Gaurd "limited slip" work even if one wheel is lifted.

No JP, best they can tell, it's just the next level of aging..... previously only known to Bubukooboo tribesmen, from Bora Bora.
I started getting the symptoms yesterday, sleepy eye, lazy sphincter...

Purple Microdot or Windowpane was what the kids did (not me, honest!) when I went to high school!
Although I think it would just get the diff all fucked up!

Me, and my buddy Marshall Sanders, driving to the midnight showing of The Song Remains the Same, in his 67 Bug.
My shirt was purple, and my hair was purple, and so was everything else night.
We got to the movie almost 3 hours early!

We didn't go. We'd seen it before... 100 times.
We ended up climbing the fence at Westover, and hanging out with my grandfather.
All of his friends live in a cemetary.
