Have a weird problem. The teener won't seem to hold idle speed when I take my foot off the gas. It just dies. Idle adj screw seems to have no effect. Before the drive home today it held rock solid at about 900 rpm. I replaced the cap and rotor last night but I dont think I bumped anything to make this happen. The ride in this morning went fine.

On a side note, I'm getting some bucking/ missing between 2900 and about 3500. Its smooth above and below. Me thinks the FI contacts are going bad. Could it be related?
Thanks for your help!

For the bucking / missing I would check the operation of your TPS.

Idle... check vac hoses first.

Yeah, the TPS is coming out this weekend. I think I have a "reverse vacuum leak" maybe the air is leaking out instead of in av-943.gif
