For people who run carbs, where is the best location for the fuel pump. I am considering the front trunk drivers side corner adjacent to the original opening for the fuel injection pump. Tucked out of the way of the spare tire. Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike

That is where I put mine.
I would suggest that you put a protective cage over it so you dont hit it with any luggage.

If your car is a later model when the pump was moved to the front under the tank, put it there.
You can put the early models in the belly pan with the master cylinder. Engine compartment is a bad place. It needs to be lower than the tank

Rotary pump, below the tank.
