has anybody ever replaced a cowl ? that may not be the correct name its between the hood and winshield mines damaged any pics? the ends are damaged

Is it damaged on the sides or in the center?

Center should be a fairly easy repair. I haven't done one though, so no pics.
Sides are a PITA and there are probably a few pictures on here somewhere. The cowl-fender-windshieldpillar area of the car is probably THE most complex area. If your sides are okay, leave them alone and cut out just the damaged area.

Funny, I just happen to have a whole windshield/cowl area cut out of a car that was parted out.

Show a picture of the damage and I will tell you if what I have will work.
