Do you guys need any assistance? It seems like the outages are increasing in frequency. Not a criticism, just offering to assist.

I Just had to spend an hour trying to find what to look at on the rest of the internet because the site was down. I never want to experience the level of boredom ever again.

I think your maps need some updating...

Anything north of "Frisco" devil.gif stirthepot.gif /Oakland is really Southern Oregon. The Frisco/Bay Area is NorCal; MidCal is San Luis Obisbo and points east; LA and Orange County is SoCal; San Diego is (for all intents and purposes) Mexico, and Rivierside and points east.... well, they're just too damn hot to talk about any more.

Is there anyone out there I haven't insulted yet??? rolleyes.gif

you have a case? beerchug.gif

just because somebody calls it "NorCal" doesn't mean it has to make any sense or be correct.

if you look at a map of california, the bay area isn't anywhere close to the northern part of the state.

just an observation from someone who didn't grow up with the infantile "competition" between the different parts of california ...

McMark
There's no MidCal. NorCal for the SF area, and SoCal for the LA area. They're based on the largest population densities.

I'll let you choose which one it should be part of.

Here's how an engineering-type would split the state. av-943.gif

nor/south... depends on where you end up after "the big one"
Joe Bob
Central CA starts at the Ventura/Santa Barbara County line.....it ends just north of the bay area. After that is NorCal....then you have aberations like BakerTucky to the East.....

I thought the No Cal / So Cal issue was resolved when the state was divided into three sections:

Logland
Fogland
Smogland

And the attitudes change in the same places as the weather. I am clearly in the southern 1/2 of the state and nobody here calls this Southern California, not even the morons on TV. We call it Central California. The distinction is that we still run around like crazy like everyone in LA but we dress like Oregon eco-hippies. biggrin.gif
