I have an oil cooler that I have used on two separate engines and have replaced the rubber seals twice and the engine continues to leak from that general area. Honestly I cannot tell where it is leaking from but a bad cooler would explain a lot? What are the chances?

sure they leak
Rig up a pressure tester with an air compressor..dont go over 30 psi or you may blow it.
