I have a question about a mid-engine Subaru swap? If
I mount a 2.5 to a 914 5 speed transaxle will the motor
turn the same as a 914 motor? Also will the 2.5 bolt up
to a 914 t-axle?

You will need an adapter plate and other custom clutch parts but they can be mated together, and yes everything will spin in the right direction.
