I used to work in the cubicle beside Mark Hanson @ GE drives in Salem VA. He was driving an electric geo metro at the time w/ miserable brakes & susp. Wasn't set up to handle the extra weight (upgrades to the brakes & shocks were non-existant). He knew I was a porsche guy so we talked about the 914 a bit as a MUCH better donor vehicle. Looks like he finally went and did it...

FWIW, I've actually been to the mason-dixon dragway in MD. 1lap visited there in 05 when we ran it. Probably the only 1/4 mile thats downhill;)
