Ive got it on the calender!

Since we don'e get swap meets in MN, I might drive down for it. Is it just going to be the swap meet displays in a parking lot, or is there going to be a group going for dinner and beers afterward?

Pate Swap meet is April 30/May 1 at Texas Motor Speedway.
While not Porsche specific it is Huge. Take more than a day to see it.

I'm about 3 miles away and always have the Keg-o-Racer at 38*

I won't have much to bring with me to sell... but I am *hoping* to work out a trade (+cash, I'm sure I'll have to throw in) with someone who has a good running engine(longblock ok, preferably a 2.0L) I have a BUNCH of stuff(a complete project basically) ... but don't know how much it will be worth

Yes, I talked to Zim's:

"The spaces are first come, first served.
Our only rule: Please don't block the fire lane or the doors.

Obviously, the early arrivals get the best spaces. The Zims staff gets here at 8:00, but I think people start showing up around 7:30 or so. We've even had people from out of town drop their trailer off the night before. Generally speaking, if you are here at 8:00, you will get a decent space."


I would like to have a get together. How about meeting for lunch at Spring-Creek BBQ (I'd have to look to see what Mex is nearby if we want that) just west of Zim's?

Spring Creek is fine by me, or whatever... I don't know what's over there... the only times I go past Zim's I'm doing about 85 down 183... not really looking for food

The conversion is coming along rather slowly....
And as far as spending my paint job money, the tranny situation just made it the much tougher to let go....
