Full Version: Mahle OC 84 Filter?

I went to drain my oil... reached in my parts bin... this filter is all that I found. It doesn't LOOK like a 9144 filter.

Anyone know what this filter fits? Google was apparently not my friend today. chair.gif

OC-28 is what you're looking for. BTW, anyone find a cup-style wrench with the right number of flutes for the Mahle filter? Advance Auto sells one that has ALMOST the right number, but that's not quite good enough. I know there are other ways, but I prefer the cup-style to take filters on & off.

It's apparantly a high-burst-pressure (i.e. motorsports or cold-climate) version of an OC-25:
