Does anyone know if intake tubes of the 1.7 are the same as the 2.0? Length, port matching, etc.?
Situation: My car has 1.7 heads but the tubes are 2.0 (so is the TB) and have been somewhat sloppily drilled for the 4 intake studs. I'm worried about leaks and efficiency.
I could install a 1.7 TB and intake tubes but it could be that the 2.0 is a better design. Anyone know?

The 2.0 tubes are shorter and wider diameter than the 1.7 ones.

The 1.8 tubes are the same diameter as the 2.0 ones, but the same length as the 1.7 ones.

Thanks. Maybe that's why it's so hard to adjust the mixture.
Sounds like I should install the 1.7 intakes to match up to the heads
or
invest in some 2.0 heads.
