Well..its roughly 100 humid degrees in Houston. One of my few days off yesterday and I had problems with my first drive of the month in the 914. Battery was dead...charged it up...opps?? No amps coming out... Battery? Yep...dead...alternator?? yep...bad too... Ok had a new 90 amp one laying about...replaced the regulator too. Battery right by the motor...too much heat?

Ok...bit the bullet...started moving the battery to the front trunk, redoing my radiator over flow/expansion tank set ups..

Geesh...starting just a little drive and then all this work.. hope to get it done by my next day off next wednesday! Then the little V8 will be a dependable hot weather car again!

(note to self...still have to replace the trans, shifter and seal some oil leaks!!)
