Hi folks. I haven't posted much lately (since 2005) so first I want to say that it's good to be posting again. I'm looking to get back to 914 stuff and I need a trailer.

Utility trailers here locally to me are between 6'-4" and 6'-6" wide. I only move cars (VW's or similar) once a year at the most but I will be hauling parts and such out of state a few times a year so the rails on a utility trailer would be useful. I have considered a regular car hauler but I just haven't convinced myself that I need to spend the extra bucks for the extra space.

Will a 914 fit on a 6.5' x 16' ok? Will 14' do ok? Suggestions?

A 914 is close to 13 1/2' long and 5' wide. You need to be able to get the door open to get out of it or be able to climb out of the window. Also, they weigh approximately 2100 lbs.
