Looks like they did a fairly nice job for the money. I wouldn't want it but I like it... a little biggrin.gif

Since a Dino is not a real Ferrari and a 914 is not a real Porsche; is this a NARF or a NARP? confused24.gif

Thats pretty cool actually. but I bet it runs hot.

Nice looking... and cheap asking price, if the chassis is good. Just throw a 3.2 or 3.6 in it and your good to go.

NARPF... silent p tongue.gif

I actually kinda like it... I pretty much like all of our little cars tho
Justinp71
Its pretty cool for a kit car, except the rear looks a little weird. Something about how the tire fits in the wheel well...

No airflow, hot engine. This car calls for a v8 or Suby.

I'm amazed how every 914 for sale has less than 100,000 miles.

(I wonder if it has anything to do with the odometer only going to 99,999?)

agree.gif Do the suby engine, change the interior a little, space the wheels a little more out and you've got a really cool car.

I think it would look sweet with race seats and a Getty dash. Oh, can't forget the Rennshift and a dfferent steering wheel.

I don't know, it looks pretty cheesy to me. Compare it to a real one.

The Dino roofline is more graceful because the 914 windshield angle is more upright and the targa bar prevents a natural sweeping curve to the rear.

For a body kit it's one of the better looking ones though. On par with some of the 904 replicas, IMO.

In SAT format:
914 is to Porsche as Dino is to Ferrari

In short, its a NARF

While I can't claim to have driven a Dino, I did sit in that car and it ain't no Fiat. But I get the analogy now.

The original Dino was a -6 when a proper Ferrari was a -12. It was not actually designated as a Ferrari. In the process of making an entry level car they created a classic. Here's a little history:

Me like! Especially since Dino 246's start at about 250 K nowadays. I do agree though...it needs a little extra ooomph like a 2.7 or 3.2. Cool car! R
