Cap'n Krusty
Not the appropriate forum, I know, but my friend (a 914 owner BTW), has a '69 Ghia for sale. Minor rust on the rear lid, never been hit, rust free floors, original engine (rebuilt once, but the original case). Needs cosmetics. Not cheap, but fairly priced. We have a local offer, but it's a bit lower than he wants. Anyone interested should contact me immediately!

That's the best year for non-low-light Ghias, old body with the late suspension.

I always like the Ghia but thought it needed more power biggrin.gif

They can be made to go verrrrry fast with a big Type I or transplanted Type IV. But I like my little 1641 cc.

.... biggest car regret: Selling the '63 Ghia Convertible for $1K because I needed the money....

Good luck.
