1969-1989

Some years are more desirable than others.

'72+ gets you the improved (i.e. all you can find nowadays...) ball joints.

mid-80's somewhere 911 used the under-body antiroll bar that some (including me) do not like. but the price can be attractive if you get it all in one lump and the lack of adjustability does not concern you.

I have a '75 at my shop that has the much maligned under body sway bar. I think they made the change mid '75 when they went to the 3.5" caliper spacing on all of the cars. You can buy the mounting tabs to weld on to the control arms so that you can use an adjustable through body sway bar even if you get a front suspension from a later car.

Thanks for the quick repy. I have an adjustable Weltmeister that I'd like to hang on to.
