2 of the 10 of the bolts my trannys intermediate plate are loose. is there a torque for these guys ?

I am pretty sure it is 18- 20 ft/lbs smile.gif

there are 10 of em in a circle around the cv joint driver side of the tranny
there are exhaust nuts on the tranny?

That would be the side cover plate.
Two of those hold the clutch cable pulley setup...might be why they are loose.

On the rear of the tranny there are two of the intermediate plate nuts that hold the exhaust system bracket.

IIRC, they're M6 nuts--taking a 10mm wrench. As the Cap'n has told us many times, the torque spec for M6 fasteners going into aluminum is very low. Something on the order of 10 lb-ft, I want to say, but my memory isn't working very well this morning...
