Okay I got the old tumbler out and trying to get the new one in and it wont lock in place. It just gets to a point and stops and wont go any farther. It is a 73 ignition switch. HELP

Figured it out. When the person rekeyed the lock for me the little roll pins did not get tapped in far enough so it it was catching before locking in.
