They are not that expensive, you can get one from your FLAPS for under $20 for a simple one.

Used an expensive one from kragen, couldnt get it to work due to the head studs. Ended up using a $0.97 Hose clamp from Lowes. Worked great.

i bought a bug pack 1 for 6$ i believe, maybe cheaper

George, that's like the type I'm looking for.
They have a kit on ebay with like 6 different bands. I'll just buy one of those. I'm sure I'll use it on other projects.
