They can't. There isn't anywhere for a dealer tech to plug his laptop in.

I have to admit, I'm a bit turned off by resurrecting old badges. The new GTO, Charger, etc. don't provide the same feeling as the originals. I hope Porsche does not reuse the 914 badge. How about 913, it's taken yet, is it?
