You recommended some time back that I switch from multi-viscosity oil to single in order to cut down some on the oil burning problem ... and I'll be damned if it hasn't made a noticeable difference! It does still burn some - it's not like the problem was magically solved or anything - but it's definitely better than it was.

Also, you had mentioned wanting to possibly make a poster from one of the 914 pictures I posted - the 9 repeating images, if I recall correctly? That's certainly ok by me. Let me see how good a scan I can get out of it, and I'll send it to you on disc if you still want it.

Bueno....glad it worked out. What did you end up using? Straight 40 or higher?

We went with straight 30, figuring if the car ran like shit we could always just drain it and start over. It seems to be real happy, though.
