Well, the line from the bottom of the tank to the hard line was actually helpful. The extra flexibility helped get the tank back in (Still a bitch!).

Man.. good thing I didnt give in and buy that line for my customers car. I have spent weeks and weeks trying to find the correct fitting. I finally found a place that will MAKE any bend I want with a 30mm "nut". The guy makes all the lines you see available for the 911's.

Oh.. and I dont get it.. the short straight line from the hard line goes on AFTER the tank is installed. Did I read something wrong ?

The short one that goes in after the tank is installed is the one that wouldn't fit.
The longer one fit fine, the one you install before installing the tank.
