any ideas here? no air in the system, i made certain of that. used the correct fluid as well. only thing i can think of is that the bladder is perforated somewhere and allowing air in the system. hopefully this is an easy (no parts needed) fix as my son and i wish to ride tomorrow.

this is on a 2008 crf 150r and pertains to the rear braking system.

any help is very much appreciated.

cheers,

scott

i can almost guarantee you that you still have air in the system.

try detaching caliper and raising and lowering as you bleed by hand.

how exactly did you "make certain of that"?

LOL <insert stick poking smilie here>

well found out that i need to rebuild the rear master cylinder. somehow sand/grit got in there and jacked up the seals.

and i did make sure there was no air in the system by raising the master cylinder and draining down out the bleeder thank you very much!!!

Dr. Roger
Haha!....

Yep sold the 500 for exactly what I bought it for a few years prior...
It DOES pay to take good care of our vehicles. beerchug.gif
