I have seen purty pictures of a factory stock 2l engine but I don't remember seeing any pictures of a stock & fully dressed 1.8 with L-jet.

Does anyone have any good ones, I am considering doing a stock restoration and would like some reference shots.

thanks!

74 1.8 Ljet or a 75-76 1.8 Ljet??

The engine layout is slightly different, some components look a little different.

How about both?

It would be nice to see the differences.

It's a '75 1.8L, I put back all the original FI components (it's a CA car so needs EGR & cat). It passed the emissions test with flying colours. Here are some more photos. Obviously, the engine is back in the car so it's difficult to get a really good overall photo.

By the way, many thanks to the L-jet experts here that helped me get everything installed and tuned as is.

Note the spring on the throttle is a MacGyver special. I don't have the original spring and wasn't sure what size and where to attach.

If you look under the rear seal at the engine tin, you should find a small hole to connect the throttle return spring.

Thanks for the pictures, how did you restore the intake manifolds?
zonedoubt
I removed the old paint, prepped, and recoated with silver Duplicolor engine enamel.
