I have a set of Koni reds (early 911 front suspension) that needs to be touched up. Anybody ever found a rattle can paint that matches or comes close?

I have never found any color to match the road grime stained color of a rear shock.
Have you called Gordon Benson at Koni NA?

My own research into this has found these...

Red High Visibility Safety - 140-0548 sherwin-williams
Orange - t-31 plasti-kote
I am working on powdercoating my OEM Koni front struts using a "Safety Red" from Caswell. We will see if the color ends up semi-correct when I am done.

From Ratwell's web page:
Koni Red:
Many people have asked me what color red was used to paint their shocks. This is because they want to repaint a chip or make a set of NOS shocks looks new again. While the NOS shocks with the winged logo were slightly orange, the new red Koni uses is NCS 1580-Y80.
NCS - Natural Color System (the standard)
S1580Y - paint code
SHINE 80 - gloss level
