When I was talking with Richard recently he mentioned his new AN-6 threaded fuel pressure regulator with built-in gauge. Coincidentally there was a sweet 911 race car at Dunkels with one. I already got the solid fuel bars for the carbs and will be re-piping everything from the tank to carbs shortly. I'm wondering if the additional gizmo is worthwhile, or only if I want to run a large aftermarket pump and regulate it down? (I have a stock 914-6 pump now.)

MMmmmm, bling, bling....."I" would think it would serve best with a high pressure system. I mean, carbs run on what? 5 psi?
If it rocks yer boat go for it....expensive?

I dunno the price.
Richard admitted it was basically for situations where you're using a non-stock pump or otherwise couldn't/wouldn't trust the pressure coming out of it to be correct & stable for the carbs.
It is kinda bling-bling though
