does any one have a pic or diagram of how to connect the heater cables to the flapper box arms? my car never had them and i need to know how to secure them to the box
Spoke
The connection is pretty simple although there are little barrels that connect the flapper arms to the cables. If you don't have the barrels you pretty much need them or need to make some if possible.

If you have them, the barrel slides in the round part of the end of the flapper arm and the cable slide into the little hole in the side of the barrel. A set bolt holds the cable in place.

On my 71, when the flappers were removed long ago, they cut the cable short so when I re-flappered the car, I had to get cable clamps from my local hardware store and some length of solid wire to extend the existing cable. Since the cable doesn't bend, the solid wire worked fine.

As for the barrels, if you don't have them, try a WTB to get 2.
