I had never noticed the slightly flared fenders or the round driver's side mirror on the 914-8.

On one of my many trips to Germany across the channel I met one of the test drivers during the 914 development and I asked to have a sit in the 914-8 see below.

Been a little while since I have seen a picture with prototype bumpers, front cowl, windshield, top etc. Look wierd.

I'd be willing to take one for a reasonable price, but would always cover the front with a bra.

Seriously though, could you imagine a 908 motor in one of our cars? The sound of it, not to mention the power! Of course the good Doctor had an abundance of top notch mechanics to do the tune up's. The valve adjustments alone would be horrific.
