I was at the porsche bone yard today and I was looking at an early 911 oil tank and the oil filler neck on it sure did look like it could be used on a 914/6 tank. Is it the same? If not is it close enough to not cause grief with the dip stick.
I guess that would lead to my next question of would the dipstick work too.

Yes, same with the oil filter console. Grab that if you can. Dipstick is different though.

What is the difference in the dipstick?
The six dipstick is longer.
