Continueing with my bumper de-bulking project, I was cutting some last holes with the Plasma cutter that I borrowed from ScottyB.

After I was done making a cut, I realized that my leg still felt warm.

I looked down, and I was on fire. How exciting! I was paying so much attention to what I was doing that I had not noticed that sparks had set my jeans on fire. It was not just smoldering, there was an 8 inch line of fire springing up from the hem of my shorts.

Obviously, I put it out quickly, and was fine.

BTDT . . . Except it was my shirt--with grinder sparks--in a school shop so it got thrown away pretty quickly so no one important noticed.

I saw flames before my brain registered fire; the heat wasn't enough.

There should be something said for your concentration when doing something...
Has anyone gotten a piece of hot slag in their shoe and had trouble getting their shoe off...I looked like a cross between a mexican jumping bean and a guy with seizures...

In my shoe and down the front of my shirt. I'm also no stranger to the smell of burning hair. I took my welding instructors advice and not only wear a hat but earplugs as well.
