My 87 924s is idleing really ruff and has been for about 3 months now I hardly drive it now so it did'nt matter. Id like to start driving it more now, I'm wondering if anybody has a clue on what could be causing it, its got a new cap rotor wires plugs.
Thanks andrew

Maybe...... The fuel pressure regulator at the back of the fuel rail. My 944s2 had a bad one and it leaked out of the vacuum line that plugs on the FPR. It was easy to find, I just pulled the vacuum line off the FPR and it spit fuel out the port. SO, it was fattening up the mix at idle dumping raw fuel into the vacuum lines.

agree.gif FPR, Vacuum leaks will be the first 2 things to check. You have a new cap and rotor so how about the wires ??

Also, does it idle rough ALL the time or only when cold/ only when warm ?
