anyone have a NOS or good used 1st generation Electromotive HPX ignition for a 2.0 4cylinder motor?

I tried Clewlett Performance but they only have the XDi new version.

Happy New Year!!!!!

I have a good used HPV-1, it's the earlier unit.

I've had one for years on my six, and it works great! The ignition timing is much more accurate that with the old distributor - crank fired is good!!!

I'm just waiting for the Bitz injection system to incorporate spark control as well, then it may be time to hang the old Webers out to dry on my 2.7. I hope that it will improve power and milage, and will stop the smell of gasoline in the garage. I will miss that sound however!

I have an HPV-1 on my V8. Works great, there are usually a few 4 cylinder ones on ebay.

Nice thing about crank fired ignition on a V8 car means you don't have to cut out that chunk of the trunk for the distributor. And except for changing plugs you basically never have to look at your ignition again.
