I have been trying to find the paint color for the green bilstein strut housing. Any Ideas? I thought the John Deer green was pretty close, I could get that from Tractor Supply. Any other suggestions?

That is what I used on mine. I will get a picture of my rear shocks later on today.

JD Green is as close as I could get. If it's any consolation, my John Deere 2040 was made in Manheim Germany.

Ya know.... many paint shops have this little gun right there where they sell the paint that can zap a paint sample (such as the original strut) and figure out the exact paint mix for a color match.......
It's best to use parts that aren't faded.

It's called a spectrometer we used the same thing to adjust color copiers in the 90's. It's not fool proof though and a spray can will paint shocks and sometimes they want you to buy a qt. to mix paint.
